OASIS Diaries #4: The Four Elemental Lands

We’re back with the 4th entry of OASIS Diaries!
Zooming in from our world map, we’re taking a closer look at the central area and the four major elemental lands of Oasis.
Central Area Planning
A major revamp and expansion of the central area will be coming soon. Our chief city planner has everything mapped out and construction is underway.
The land of Oasis is imbued with elemental forces and a strong connection to nature. Each of the four major lands is distinct in their topography and atmosphere.
Blazing Land of Fire🔥
Walking through the land of fire, a red horizon merges into the purple ground. A scorching expanse stretches across a rocky terrain, where only the strong or resourceful can withstand the heat. From afar, you can see proud, formidable buildings, fashioned from the craggy cliffs. Spiky protrusions grow from the sides. Smoke and ashes fill the air, while lava pools into the ground. Deep underground, the magma heats the earth.
Vibrant Land of Nature🍃
The land of nature is a forest teeming with life. Soft hills lie on the curvature of the land. From the overgrown mushrooms which have sprouted from the ground, the local inhabitants turned these into their homes. These warm, cozy huts are packed closely together amidst shrubbery and foliage.
Listen closely and you will hear pleasant chirps and soft rustling greet you in the background. It feels like time slows down when you’re in this place.
Mysterious Land of Wind💨
A unending breeze flows in the in the land of wind. Sometimes, whistling gently. At other times, loud and forceful. The jagged landscape, though rough and uneven, helps you anchor yourself against the erratic winds. The constant movement of air currents keeps your sprits up as well, and you can’t help but feel energetic.
The curiously shaped buildings scattered all around seem to serve some purpose. Perhaps one day you might find out…?
Serene Land of Water💧
The land of water is remarkedly different from the other lands. Deep calm waters cover most of the area, with partially-submerged buildings scattered across. Sturdy cables hold these structures in place so that they don’t get swept off by the tides. To reach them, you will need to travel through the sea, perhaps by swimming or other methods.
